Is there anyway to be able to exercise at home with a pull up bar without having to use a wall?
My mom absolutely will not allow me to install a pull up bar on the walls of my house, is there anyway I can use a pull up bar without installing through walls?
Clothesline bar if it is heavy duty will work great.

Bar Stools Can Be Used At A Counter Top Or Bar Island
Bar stools are becoming an increasingly popular seating arrangement in many homes. They can be found pulled up to kitchen islands or counter tops and are a great way of eating informally at the counter. They are also great for entertaining, as all your guests are at the same height, whether they are sitting or standing, ensuring a good flow of conversation.
One of the most common ways to purchase a bar stool is over the internet, where you can find top quality pieces from some of the best manufacturers. Because of the size of the internet, there is a huge selection to choose from, whether you are buying for home or work use, and whatever your décor tastes might be. Most websites will have color photographs of the products and will give you a variety of options in dimensions, colors and materials,
One of the main things to consider when investing in bar stools is where will they be used and who will be sitting on them. Should they be stationary or swivel chairs? You should have swivel chairs if they are pulled up to a counter or bar island as it will be difficult to get in and out of stationary chairs. Will people be sitting on them for long period of time? If so you should consider bar stools with backs to offer a degree of support, and perhaps arms as well. How high do your stools need to be? If they are fairly high do they have adequate foot rests built in?
Once you have decided on the practicalities of the chair, you can have more fun choosing the look and style. You could opt for a natural wood effect if the stools are for a country kitchen. Alternatively there are more contemporary designs available in chrome or stainless steel with leather seats if the stools are intended for a modern office area.
You need to consider the seat itself. A natural oak stool could look great with colorful cushions in a fabric to match your room decoration. However, if you want to keep to a minimalist design and avoid separate cushions, you need to make sure your stools have adequate padding built into the seats or they will be extremely uncomfortable.
Once you have established what you are looking for in your perfect bar stool, you can begin your internet search. Look at a variety of sites to ensure you are getting good value for money but do be aware of shipping costs. A cheaper piece of furniture with high shipping costs can end up costing you more than expensive stool you could pick up locally yourself.
